Women today are hardworking, but how did we get here?During World War One women stepped up to the plate and fulfilled men’s roles but it wasn't until World War Two that the roles of women were valued. The changing roles of women during WW2 affected not only women but also men in Australia greatly. For example, not only were women allowed to help in the war but they were also recruited. The poster to the left shows how even though the government didn't like women doing men’s jobs, we were critically needed that they went to the extent to try and persuade us. What were the changes that occurred to women’s roles, What caused these changes and how did others react are many asked questions about roles of women during WW2. The changing roles of women had one of the biggest impacts of our world as we know it.
